faith Class - Year 4
Welcome to Faith class!
We are the newest class in the school, since the school went from six to seven classes at the beginning of this academic year in 2016. There are 18 children in the class, we take great pride in our learning, as well as supporting our peers with theirs.
Our class motto is: “Take pride in how far you’ve come and faith in how far you can go!”
We talk a lot about having a growth mindset and to help us with this, we have Owly and Jaggy, they are a toy owl and jaguar. Owly has a fixed mindset and doesn’t like trying new things, says what is/isn’t possible and won’t change! Luckily, we have Jaggy who reminds us that it’s good to have a growth mindset, that even though things may get tough, we never, ever, give up!
Jaggy tells us that mistakes help us to learn and that making several drafts of our work is a good thing as we can always improve! You will often hear the children say, “Be more like Jaggy!”
We are lucky to have Mrs Matthews, Mrs Marchant, Mrs Beresford and Mrs Macklin supporting the class throughout the week.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office.
We look forward to welcoming you to our class!
